The Kid's library adventure

Rain Rain Rain Rain... it's done nothing but rain here lately and we're sick of staying inside, so we decided to go out for a ride, and I took The Kid to the Library to look at books and play.  I was hoping for some other kiddos her age to be there but had no luck with that. Oh Well, she had fun anyway!!

Time for a snack!

Such concentration!

Happy Memorial Day!

Glittering US Flag Picture

God Bless America!

Thank you to those service men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice and did not return from battle.
Thank you Veterans for your service to our country, and for coming home safely!
Thank you to everyone currently serving in the Armed Forces.  We appreciate what you do every single day to keep our country the land of the free and the home of you, the brave!

And in memory of my favorite Veteran, My Grandfather, who served in the Navy during WWII.  Tomorrow would have been his 89th Birthday!  I miss you every day Grampy!!

The Kid visits the Farm

Where does the time go? I really wish I could get on a better blogging schedule I have so much to share, but not enough time and motivation to get it posted!

This weekend we had so much fun visiting friends and family.  The Kid's favorite part was running around the farm (Smiling Hill Farm), petting and feeding the animals. Here are some of the photos:

Feeding "Mr. Pickles" the donkey, who's birthday was the day we went!

The LARGEST turkey I've ever seen in my life!

Riding on Grampy's shoulders to see the Llamas!

Goin' for a ride on the tractor Mum!
